Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
PacketLoq Inc. is a Delaware corporation based in Seattle, Washington. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.
The short version
We do not track you. This website runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking cookies. If you email us or use our contact form, we have what you send us. That is very nearly the whole of it.
What we collect
When you contact us. If you email us or use the contact form on this site, we receive what you send: your name, your work email address, your company, the kind of network link you are responsible for, and anything else you choose to tell us. Form submissions are delivered to our company email. The copy the website keeps is deleted regularly, at least every six months. The form does not record your IP address. We use your information to reply to you and to have a conversation about whether our product is useful to you.
When you visit the site. Requests to this site pass through Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks and keeps it fast, and our web host keeps standard server logs. Our security software also records the IP addresses of traffic it flags or blocks. These records include IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. They are used for security and troubleshooting, and we do not link them to you as an individual.
Cookies. This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a small, strictly necessary security cookie that helps tell people from automated traffic. It is not used to track you or to advertise to you. WordPress, which runs the site, may set a session cookie if you log in to administer it. That applies to our staff, not to visitors.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
- We do not run advertising, and we do not share data with ad networks.
- We do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other websites.
- We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
Why we are allowed to hold it
If you contact us, we process your information because you asked us to get in touch, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our product. Security records and server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working. If you are in a jurisdiction where consent is the relevant basis, contacting us is that consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete your information.
Who else sees it
We keep the number of parties involved deliberately small:
- Cloudflare, which sits in front of this site to protect it and deliver it.
- Our web host, which operates the server this site runs on and generates the logs described above.
- Google Workspace, our email provider, which carries messages between you and us and stores our correspondence.
Each acts as a service provider on our behalf, not as an independent user of your information. We do not pass your details to anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless we are legally required to. These providers may process data in the United States.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and correspondence are kept for up to three years after our last contact with you, so that we have context if you come back to us, and are then deleted. Copies of contact form submissions stored by the website are deleted regularly, at least every six months. Server logs and security records are kept for a short operational window and then discarded. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it. We will not charge you for asking and we will not treat you differently for having asked.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you these rights formally, including the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to your data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right exists and we will honor it.
How to ask
Email [email protected] and tell us what you want. The address is monitored by our founding team. We aim to respond within a few days and, where a legal deadline applies, within thirty days.
Children
This site is aimed at people responsible for network infrastructure at work. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.
Security
We are an encryption company, so it would be poor form not to take this seriously. The site is served over HTTPS, administrative access requires multi-factor authentication, and the software is kept current. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, for example if we begin using analytics, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting more than we describe here.
